I was looking for a certain article to use today. I thought it was in my husband’s book “Armageddon Now”. As I began to search for the parts of the article needed I found notes stuck inside telling me what parts to read. These were not about the article I was looking for. Sometimes we find our mind changed without warning. Also as usual I found the verses that I needed and so this changed the blog for today.
Hearing the news this morning caused me to begin the search for an end of age article. Planes with nuclear capabilities flying over another country’s airspace, Israel accused of bombing a place in Syria with no evidence of injury or damage, and on and on it went with the wars and rumors of war. Then of course there was the violence covering the land.
As in the days of Noah so shall it be in our day. The people went on with everyday life as if nothing would ever change. We do not know the day or hour of the coming of the LORD. We are told that in the hour when we think not He shall appear.
From the book and writings of Brother Kolenda I give this to you.
[Matthew 24:37-39] These verses tell us what was going on”in the days of Noah”. They also tell us it will be the same in the “Coming of the LORD.” The following is a paragraph taken from E.J. Kolenda’s book. This also struck me with the words, They Knew Not. It seems the more we learn the less we know.
Let us draw your attention to the two words in Verse 39. They “Knew Not” when the flood would come. So now also. So shall the coming of the Son of man be. The world today does not know when the LORD is coming. For the day of the LORD shall come as a thief in the night, unexpected. [1Thessalonians 5:2, 2 Peter 3:10, Revelations 16:15].
How many would believe it if the Bible told us the day and hour? Today there are signs of the ending of this age all around us. Yet as humans we seem to not learn from our past.

I also must say on this subject that God shut the door not Noah.Iwas pondering this one night and he brought this to my attention he has called us he will keep us in that hour . Laura
That is a wonderful point. Yes it is GOD that shuts the door and He alone sets the time.
