  1. Wow….so nice to see some activity here!
I don’t quite see the point of throwing scripture into the blog without an explanation……but….at least we are moving again.
While Isaiah is pretty ominous in this verse……we need to read the entire chapter to know what is going on….in fact…..I recommend the 2 chapters before and the 2 after chapter 33.
This is a very early warning of things to come in our time.
It also tells us that our Salvation lies in the Lord.
It’s always good to be prepared.
1Cor. 2 was a good read. Always is!
We need to keep the mind of Christ always active and in the forefront.
    Todays world requires good discernment.
We need to be able to distinguish who is telling the truth and growing in the knowledge of our Lord.
We have to remember that there are many people out there who claim to have knowledge of Christ, but, they are not growing.
They seem to be stuck on a certain doctrine, principle, whatever and can’t get out of that rut.
Let’s try to avoid such schisms and concentrate on our little but truth digging, growing and maturing group.

  2. 1Cor. 3
    The entire chapter .
We tend to honor those who brought us into the truth by giving them the credit.
Although it is true that they may have initially opened our eyes…….The LORD is the one who continues to build on that foundation.
I used to say that “I knew E.J.”.
I never totally considered that it was his nephew that led me to the truth.
One lays the foundation and another waters.
But…….The LORD is the one who increases the knowledge.
There is enough strife and animosity in the world around us, let’s not let that and divisions come between us and that which the LORD has set in place.
Let’s show the visitors to this site that we are in fact of one family, one LORD , one faith and indeed one baptism.
    God Bless all.

  3. Thats for sure the Lord Jesus Chriist did it all for every one of us let’s be good ambassators for the truth

  4. We sure are learning and growing Praise the Lord Love the teaching and Correction that’s what keeps us strait on the path to Christ jesus our Lord

  5. Luke 18-8
Wow…..here Jesus asks if He will find faith on planet Earth when He returns.
Kinda thought provoking when you consider that he already knows the answer!
For the record….I feel I do have the faith.
This is an element of my life that gets me up in the morning ready for a new day.
As it should all of us.
If we are regulars to this site, than we know what is needed to fulfill the orders from our Lord.
If you don’t know……please, please, please ask.
Ask anyone of us and we will get the answers to you.
    Faith,,,,,,,,a great commission.
    Faith……it’s what rules our lives.
Faith…..thank the Lord it is within us.
    Faith…..let’s spread it out !!
    God Bless all.

  6. I’ve heard that there are those of us who like to listen to others….which in itself is not a bad thing at all.
    However…..look at 2 Tim 4:3…..
If we let what we hear confuse us then Satan has accomplished what he had set out to do.
He’s causing that curious syndrom called “itching ears”! It always feels good to hear th truth, in fact, it still feels right to hear a half truth.
Let’s use the gift of discernment to our advantage here and utilize it to separate the wheat from the chaff.
I fall into that same category often and thank the Lord that I know I can count on Him to set me straight!
E.J. Kolenda has given us the Apostles Doctrine concerning Jesus.
It is a sure teaching and foundation on which to grow further.
Sylvia is here to continue his ministry.
Many months ago she had asked for questions to be asked so she would have a direction to go with this blog.
I have seen very little response.
Laura and I seem to be the only ones who want to go further!
    So…..Sylvia……..a question.
After we are saved what does it take to remain saved?
Remember E.J.’s closing on his newsletters……
“How much truth does it take to get into Heaven?”
    God Bless All
    Go Sylvia!

  7. A correction…..sorry
I meant to use the term “Apostolic Doctrine”
